AERO Bionic Flapping‑Wing Butterfly Aircraft

The AERO bionic butterfly integrates multi‑disciplinary technologies including bionic biology, mechanical structure design and embedded electronics. Its wings are constructed from P31N high‑performance lightweight cloth paired with carbon‑fiber framework replicating natural butterfly vein structures, enabling flexible wing deformation and high‑efficiency flapping flight.

The 4th‑generation custom flight controller hardware and firmware are fully in‑house developed. Firmware can be manually updated by end‑users for continuous feature upgrades. The flight stack uses unified parameter‑oriented architecture: parameter settings adjusted via mobile phone APP will also apply to radio‑transmitter control mode.

Five communication protocols are natively supported: ELRS, PPM, S.BUS, WiFi and ESPNOW. Users can tune nearly 30 flight parameters on mobile‑phone interface to compensate performance changes caused by wing damage, servo wear and mechanical aging. This adjustable‑parameter design prevents degraded flight performance from minor hardware wear‑and‑tear.

Two product variants are available. The standard consumer edition is discontinued; the current commercial‑performance edition features upgraded servos, mainboard, firmware and battery for lighter weight, higher lift force and longer flight endurance. Recommended flight environment is indoor or outdoor gentle‑breeze conditions; fly head‑on against wind for outdoor operation. Main application scenarios include personal fun, stage performances, wedding ceremonies, large‑scale exhibitions, visits and technical training.
